Flower Ring

Product Details

1) Thread six seed beads onto the length of cord. Take the end of the cord and thread into the first seed bead threaded onto the cord to create a loop. Pull this loop so that it's at the center of your cord.

2) With your left-hand cord, thread on one color bicone, one crystal daisy spacer (thread from the front of the daisy spacer to the back), one clear crystal bicone, another crystal daisy spacer (this time thread from the back of the daisy spacer to the front) and another color bicone. Take the right-hand cord and thread down through the last color bicone and crystal daisy spacer threaded onto the left-hand cord. Pull tight

3) Take the right-hand cord through the seed bead next to where the cord exited the color bicone. With the cording that is now on the left side, thread on a clear crystal, a crystal daisy spacer (thread back to front) and another color bicone. Take the right-hand cord and thread back down into the color bicone and crystal daisy spacer only. Pull tight. Repeat this step three more times.

4) Take the now right-hand cord and go through the next seed bead, then down through the very first color bicone and crystal daisy spacer that began this beadweaving. Now you have both halves of the cord coming out of the back of the ring. Thread the last clear crystal bicone onto the left-hand cord and then thread the right-hand cord in where the left cord exited. Pull tight. Take the cord that is on the left side and go through the three bicones on the left (you will exit the bicone directly underneath the one you started at). Take the cord that is on the right and go through the three bicones on the right (the last bicone that you go through will be the same bicone that you exited with your left cord.

5) Pull tight and all slack will be removed from the back of the ring. Thread five seed beads onto each side of cording. Take your right-hand cord and go through the last seed bead that was threaded on your left-hand cord. Now take your left-hand cord and go through the last seed bead that was threaded on your right-hand cord. You will be left with both sides of cording going through two seed beads, with four seed beads left on either half. Thread five more seed beads onto each side of cording. Create about four to five more loops before testing the fit on your finger. Adjust and create enough loop until you are just shy of meeting up with the other half of the ring.

6) Thread on four seed beads and then take the left-hand cord and go through the clear crystal bicone from the left to right. Now take the right-hand cord and go through the same clear crystal bicone from the right to the left. Pull tight to remove all slack.

7) Take the now right-hand cord and thread through four bicones on the right (your cord will be exiting the left side of the back of the ring when through). Take the now left hand cord and go through the next clear crystal bicone of to the left. (Now both cording will be exiting off to the left from the same space between the clear crystal bicones).

8) Finish off the beadweaving by creating a surgeon's knot with the remaining cording. Pull tight. Snip one cording tail off and test out wearing the ring to make sure that the tail won't irritate your finger as you wear it. (You want to keep a bit of cording tail attached to make sure that the cording doesn't back out of the knot) Snip off the other cording tail with your side cutters, and then test out the ring again to make sure that the cording tails still don't irritate your finger. If at any point it does, simply trim a small amount off with your side cutters. Done!
